The result of this competition, organised by Usine Nouvelle magazine, was announced yesterday evening at the 16th Engineers of the Future Trophies ceremony. Aliapur’s photo will be part of a prestigious exhibition held in the Luxemburg Gardens in Paris from March to July 2020.

In November, Aliapur took part in the “Industry seen from the air” photography competition with a photo taken in the Seine-Maritime département of the Henry Recyclage factory, one of the service providers for the collections sector and a tyre transformation site. The photo was taken last December by Christophe Dubois, Aliapur’s operational bases manager and a remote drone pilot, on the fringes of the site’s annual inventory. The shredding line has been photographed from a height of 50 metres.

Our photo, which was praised by the jury for its “graphism and unusual nature”, was officially declared the winner yesterday evening, at the end of the 16th Engineers of the Future Trophies ceremony: between March and July 2020, the photo will be included in a prestigious exhibition of 80 aerial photos on the gates of the Luxemburg Gardens. The Senate, which owns the premises, effectively authorises two general public exhibitions every year. The exhibitions are chosen on the basis of historical or artistic criteria.

For “Industry seen from the air”, Aliapur’s photo will be in the company of photos by professional photographers from Usine Nouvelle, as well as those of a number of very well-known photographers, notably Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
